Hidealoo makes its debut at kbb NEC (ShoutOut)
Hidealoo, the world’s first moveable toilet frame, made its tradeshow debut at the UK’s leading kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom exhibition, kbb Birmingham 2024.
Here, founder and inventor Monty Ravenscroft, explains what Hidealoo is all about, and why Hidealoo is “a game changer“!
The four-day kbb Birmingham event showcased the latest product innovations and designs from across the industry, bringing together more than 250 sector exhibitors from over 20 countries.
For the Hidealoo team, it was a fantastic opportunity to speak with attendees from across the plumbing and construction industries, and demonstrate the various use cases of their innovative foldaway toilet frame.
Hidealoo’s founder and inventor, Monty Ravenscroft, was also delighted to be invited to take to the stage as part of a special panel discussion hosted by the Bathroom Association, exploring ‘What innovations are coming forward for the bathroom?’.
In addition, having been named one of 10 finalists in this year’s kbb Birmingham Innovation Awards, a Hidealoo frame was on display in a dedicated awards zone, with judges announcing the overall winner at the show.
Inventor, Monty Ravenscroft, has spent the last 25 years pioneering designs for innovative moving elements in architecture. He was inspired with the idea for the Hidealoo frame when designing solutions for the home that would maximise the space available by making it more flexible in use. He also wanted to create something for his invalid father, who needed the convenience of bathroom facilities in his bedroom but in a discreet way that preserved his dignity.
