Top home design trends in 2025: Making the most of under-used spaces

Respected home design platform, Houzz, which hosts a community of over 70 million design enthusiasts, has released its predictions for the top styles and features it expects to define 2025 – and it appears Hidealoo is bang on trend!

According to the platform, in 2025 homeowners will increasingly be looking for clever ways to squeeze practicality and purpose out of under-used areas, as well as seeking smart solutions for optimising smaller properties.

Which is exactly what the Hidealoo frame is designed for!

By allowing any wall hung toilet to be rotated through 90 degrees, the Hidealoo frame can support homeowners and developers to maximise their use of space. The toilet can be hidden inside a cabinet, cupboard, or wall space when not in use, creating more flexible floor space, as well as providing an opportunity for additional toilets to be installed where adding a new bathroom may not otherwise be possible.

Popular uses include within utility room cupboards, in cabinets underneath loft eaves, and in bedrooms for those less mobile at night.

Other key bathroom trends highlighted by Houzz were shower rooms, wet rooms that work in narrow and unusual spaces, and arch-inspired products, which the platform believes could become “the biggest shape in interiors for 2025”.
